IV) Financial

{{item}}
Summer Servants serving less than 6 weeks receive ROOM and BOARD. Travel costs, health insurance, and any incidental expenses are not covered by Bethlehem Farm.
{{item}}
{{item}}
Summer Servants serving 6 weeks or more will also receive a LIVING STIPEND of $175/mo upon departure (equivalent to the living stipend of a beginning Caretaker) to help mitigate the costs of an extended stay. For example, a 6-week Summer Servant will receive a stipend of ~$262.50, and a 2-month Summer Servant will receive a stipend of $350.
{{item}}
Summer Servants are asked to raise donations for Bethlehem Farm in preparation for their time at the Farm. The suggested donation is $450 (the fee for one group week). It is completely understandable if a Summer Servant raises more or less than this $450 goal and acceptance will not be based on failure or success in meeting this goal. You are encouraged to ask for help from family and friends, so they can assist with this donation and also support you emotionally and spiritually while you are here. We will provide tools and ideas to help with fundraising.

The "Welcome Home" Spirit of Bethlehem Farm

{{item}}
Bethlehem Farm values a spirit of “Welcome Home” among the members of this community as an integral part of our Christian witness, specifically the gospel cornerstones of prayer, simplicity, community, and service. We value the uniqueness of all persons as God’s creatures. We welcome all people, regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, nationality, gender, religion, political affiliation, income, marital status, familial status, physical ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, & military status, for example, precisely because of Christ’s calling to treat others as we desire to be treated. We value vulnerable or minority members of this community as we value all members of this community. We condemn harassment of any kind, and our policies prohibit any such acts. We intentionally create an environment of mutual respect, hospitality and warmth in which none are strangers and all may flourish.
