IV) Financial
Summer Servants serving less than 6 weeks receive ROOM and BOARD. Travel costs, health insurance, and any incidental expenses are not covered by Bethlehem Farm.
• Can you live within these means for your committed time at the Farm? *
Summer Servants serving 6 weeks or more will also receive a LIVING STIPEND of $125/mo upon departure (equivalent to the living stipend of a beginning Caretaker) to help mitigate the costs of an extended stay. For example, a 6-week Summer Servant will receive a stipend of ~$187.50, and a 2-month Summer Servant will receive a stipend of $250.
Summer Servants are asked to raise donations for Bethlehem Farm in preparation for their time at the Farm. The suggested donation is $400 (the fee for one group week). It is completely understandable if a Summer Servant raises more or less than this $400 goal and acceptance will not be based on failure or success in meeting this goal. You are encouraged to ask for help from family and friends, so they can assist with this donation and also support you emotionally and spiritually while you are here. We will provide tools and ideas to help with fundraising.
• Are you willing and able to fundraise this amount? *
------------------------------------------------------------------
